Speech + music + movement = logo rhythm
Speech is a complex process that requires the coordinated work of respiration, the oral cavity, the nervous system and the organs of perception: when at least one of the components fails, as a rule, the whole mechanism falls apart. The task of logo rhythmics is to make everything work smoothly and without interruptions.
In addition, speech therapy rhythm perfectly develops motor skills (general and fine), coordination of movements and speech breathing and contributes to the normalization of muscle tone. Logorhythmic classes train memory, attention and perception (especially auditory) and have a very beneficial effect on the physical condition of the baby, helping him to form the correct motor skills. And lately, experts have paid attention to the fact that speech therapy rhythm “works” very well with the psychoemotional state of children: it calms restless and easily excitable crumbs, and, on the contrary, encourages slow and thoughtful ones.
Logorhythm is primarily useful for children:
- with stuttering or with a hereditary predisposition to it;
- Speech that is too fast / slow or choppy
- with insufficiently developed motor skills and coordination of movements;
- with dysarthria, delays in the development of speech, impaired pronunciation of certain sounds;
- often sick and weak;
- those who are in the period of intensive speech formation (on average, this is an age from 2.5 to 4 years).
